The Esprit 150 certainly sucks up the photons nicely :)

Thanks Andy I was very pleased with it. Still trying to work out how to incorporate the Luminance shots.

Thanks Dunk. The resolution of the 150 certainly pulls in the detail.

Thanks Rick Look forward to hoovering with you AstroFest

Thanks Dennis. When I started to process M83 just popped out.

Thanks Rodney. I struggle a bit as I am colour blind. However the new PixInsight Photometric Colour Calibration as been a big help to me.

Thanks Colin. I really love the 150. Big aperture for lots of photons and very high resolution. Still trying to get a handle on exposure times.

Thanks Jon. The ZWO ASI1600 is all new to me so I am still finding my way with it. I have been imaging at Unity Gain or 139. I am finding with the Esprit 150 ( F7 ) that I only need about 90 second exposures for Luminance and 120 second exposures for RGB. Haven't tried any narrow band yet.

Great work Rob, especially for a first attempt at RGB! Nice and sharp. I'd personally opt for a more blue / magenta look but that may well be technically incorrect.

Thanks Lee. The blue/magenta colour aspect you mention is quite interesting as most M83 renditions appear rendered in this manner. I used the Photometric Colour Calibration tool in PixInSight to get the correct colour calibration for M83. Therefore I believe my colour rendition is probably correct for RGB I think the blue/magenta look may be due to the addition of HA. I will check this out.

Thanks Greg. Maybe there was some high cloud or fog around but I'd would have expected that to impact the stars too.
