Hi All

Does anyone know where I can purchase some nylon tipped thumbscrews?
I purchased a secondhand telescope which was missing the locking screw for the focuser, I swap a screw currently between my two telescopes but I know what is going to happen.

Thanks in advance.

Or go here, and search for "thumbscrew":
http://www.smallparts.com.au/store/categories/

Lots of varieties available, including stainless steel with nylon tips ... if you're really after that level of rigidity.

+1 for smallparts.
A great crowd to work with, very helpful and know their business.

Yep, Smallparts are good.. however their website was (is?) not easy to navigate...
The good thing is, you can go to SDP/SI (http://www.sdp-si.com/products/Timing-Belts-and-Cables/index.php) website, find what you need there (very user-friendly designed!) and Smallparts will aacept their part number (I believe they were the same mob at some stage, and the stock was at SPD/SI).
Then you choose who to go with, sometimes combined postage from US is cheaper and faster.
