Well this image is the one I am most proud of because my daughter and her little friend did the hands on.:D

I moved the scope and achieved focus but they did the rest.

And it is interesting to see how well the little 80 mm handled the job.

So details.
Scope 80 mm Skywatcher triplet, Nikon D5500 DSLR camera at what iso I cant remember...

Each of them took 20 frames which involved switching the remote on and off which they both did exceptionally well as I told each of them at the time.

From there my daughter downloaded the frames, stacked them (all by herself) in Registax and then took the image to her fancy desk top computer with Photo Shop (sigh) and processed the image by creating something called layers and doing stuff and putting it all back together...very advanced...and I think she did a reasonable job..because I secretly tried a process in Gimp and frankly it simply was not as good as the image below.

And she printed out the photo and laminated it to give to her (our) little friend as a keep sake and something to remember the night.

We amanged a little visual with a second 80 mm I had on hand and they got to see Orion, Omega C, and of course the Jewell Box the cloud .... all the time making me feel bad with their observations upon colour:lol:
She does not know I have put this here although I did get verbal permission...but I do like these things in writting particualrly with family:rolleyes:.

Thank you Jon.

I gave her my Lobster attempt and the little devil wont process it for me:sadeyes:.

I suppose I best back off and let her decide if she wants to get involved.

You missed your calling Alex, you could have been a teacher, or better still a writer.
And it would be nice to spend time with the little folk.

Oh & the moon shot ain't half bad
