This creature tried to use my counterweight...
Anybody knows what kind of spider is it?

Bad Ass spider. Odd...I thought Red Back only liked dark places.

Thanks
He was in the dark, under the cover.
I saw it when I went to take some measurements on my mount.

Yep... Lady Red...
Well, she is now out the way, I am lucky I noticed her presence during the day.
Because in the dark our encounter wouldn't be very nice (for me)

Ah, yes, I have so much venom from these little buggers in my blood stream that mozzies don't come near me. The bite hurts like hell and can kill some people. Makes me really sick but I tend top recover after a day or so.

Since moving to Canberra, I have been bitten by spiders more often than I have taken a nap in 45 years. In our bed, in the garage, in the yard, walking around the golf course, walking between pine trees (THAT one hurt badly for a week). Latest bite was a week ago - at the local shopping centre. I think I have become immune...

Perhaps ASIO or ASIS has programmed spiders as mini-assassins.

Spider webs find me like magnets in a jar of ball bearings.

Lewis, I was playing under a tank stand in the back yard, it crawled up under my dacks..
