This image combines data I took in 2016 and, more recently, at the April new moon this year. Seeing was never particularly good and there were problems with a star flare--you can still see some signs of it in the processed image. Quite a lot of data hit the trash can.

Still a result to be pleased with :)

That's truly excellent, Geoff. The faintest features are there. The detail in the core is great, and the handling of colour is beautiful - bright star colours but clean background.

Well done.

Very nice Geoff. A few out of field bright star flares from the left side are impinging a bit though. Does your CDK have all the baffles that seemed to get developed later on? Mine largely stopped doing that with the baffle kit.

Greg.

Thanks Lewis. Not an easy target, but tht's part of the fun.

Thanks Colin. It did come out better than expected when I was processing

Thanks Mike and Trish

Thanks Rick. I found that the arcsinh stretch in PI did a very food job on preserving the colours in the RGB image

Thanks Joshua

I did fit the baffles, but it didn't solve the problem completely but the was an improvement.

Thanks Martin

Thanks Mike. Colours are always a bit of a gamble--you try this and that and they look crap then suddenly something happens in the bumbling around and great colour leaps out.

Thanks Louie

I also like the colour, seeing can be pain though.
