Custom EQ6 tripod

This is the EQ6 Kunama rebuilt with custom stainless legs (much thicker tube walls), custom spreader/ brace and clamps. No expense spared.

It weighs twice as much as an original, and is SIGNIFICANTLY taller (collapsed height much taller). Vibration damping superb. Fits the EQ6 and variants thereof or make an adaptor (I had a Vixen GPD on it with a custom head plate).

Price is $350 and worth every cent. Because of weight I prefer pickup in Canberra but will drive to Yass or Goulburn. If you really want it posted/courier, I can arrange it but I think it’ll be $100 minimum!

The leg tubes are 316 grade stainless steel with 1.6mm wall and 1000mm long
(standard tripods have 600mm tube 0.75mm wall and poor grade stainless.)

The over centre locking type brace has 16mm solid cross bars and aluminium 2" clamps and stainless steel bolts/washers..

Stability wise this tripod now compares well to the Avalon T-Pod and Berlebach tripods.
