Got up at 4.00am to image some planets , dew everywhere so took some lunar images and went back to bed

Lunar images are not sharp, I have done better

Any advice on the dew problem ?

Tried some cotton wipes but made it worse

I use a Canon 600D into a 150mm Reflector F6 OTA and RA 8x50 finderscope

Hi Martin

Images are just fine.

Now time to start stakkin...

Instead of a single image, take a video (if the Canon can do it).
About 100 frames is a good start.

The single images are extracted from the video using PIPP (or similar).
Then stacked in AutoStakkert or RegiStax (reject blurry ones first).

Extend the dew shield with cardboard. Keep covered when not using.
And someone else will kick in to discuss heaters.
