Well it sorta looks like one. My very first mosaic, just with 2 panels as a test, but worth it to prove that my small brain can get PI to do it.

Stars a bit better but since this image I've improved corrector spacing heaps more. And discovered that main bad guiding issue is the need to regrease the mount, hadn't done it for almost 3yrs. Even small slewed of the mount sometimes reveals stickiness, so hoping that'll fix it

Nice work, Simon. Going to do the whole LMC?

Thanks, yes of course Rick, once the guiding is fixed. Oh and I clean my disgusting filthy sensor! I'm amazed anything came out...

Yep, definitely a waterfall.

I look forward to the entire cloud cascading into view :D

That’s a really nice image Simon! I’ve been wanting to do a large mosaic of the LMC for a while but something always seems to get in the way of it!

Your setup will give a nice result

Looks good Simmo
I’ve seen a bazillion imiages of the LMC but yours is the first that really does look like a waterfall, so that’s pretty cool :cool3:
Well done on popping your mosaic cherry too

Thanks mate, same here!

Yes Colin, there's always always something more different, but the major targets can be made to look different. Yes I hope I can bed it down soon, wasting too much dark sky here! But so busy during the day I'm often too pooped to be bothered tweaking.
