Hi all,

just a quick reminder that NZ Rob Beck and I have organised an astrophotographers get together for the weekend of Fri 6th to Sun 8th May 2005 in Taupo (NZ) (only 3 weeks away)...

It is envisaged that talks / discussion / image slideshows regarding astrophotography (in particular digital astrophotography) will occur during the day and hands-on astrophotography will happen at night from the dark sky site. For more information and to register see:

http://www.star-mate.com/astrophoto2005

Come and enjoy an astrophotographer's feast - even if you don't know which end of a camera to look through come along, it should be great fun and very educational!

Cheers.

Good on ya David, perhaps we should get you to drive into Taupo on the Saturday night and order the fush & chips - we can't have all your good practice going to waste!

Oh Man I would love to go, but I have "other" plans that I must follow through. I hope that you have clear skies for the whole weekend. Please post all your shots, I have never been to NZ and would really love to visit, but it can't happen this time.

Have a great weekend.

Bring it on. Looking forward to seeing Paul & David over here. Should be good. We'll have you backing the All Blacks by the time you leave! And you'll never drink VB or Crown again after savouring some local kiwi brew!
Cheers

Hmmmm looks like I'll have to pick up a bottle of Queenslands Mother's Milk at the duty free on the way over.
