OK, I confess, it's just a PixInsight reprocess...of 50 mins of data LOL. Fiddled with this, tweaked that, destroyed this and that and took some laxatives and voila!

Yeah, the blues gone whackier than Colin on Rhohipnol (not that I'd know Colin... :P) and the noise is worse than Peter's 4 x RR Trents at max continuous, and the colour is approaching a Sidonio reject...

Liar.

It's bloody awful :) BUT, the whole idea was to test P.I how much it could extract data. So, given a good set of data, it will really pop the detail.

I am just NOT going to do any M42 (this data is 2 months old) until next rotation.

Good thing is those AWFUL Baader filters are gone. So much for "German Engineering"...got better results with a $30 Chicom filter...

Just with some PixInsight eff-ups incorporated this time...:P

You can never have too many M42's. A bit more data would clean it up nicely.
