Why wouldn't we like it Phil.

I bet your amazed at what can be done with a ccd and small aperture.

Great stuff mate but you making me a little impatient.

the wait will be worth it when you get you gear. Just think about the photos you will be taking.

Well framed Phil. I sense you'll surprise us all with a bi-colour narrow band image with this one. Perhaps capture an OIII and generate a synthetic green channel in PS. Just a thought;)

Well, while you at it capture some R frames. I've recently seen some very impressive (R=R,Ha)OIII and SII images. Theres nothing stoping you from combining wide and narrow band images given the correct colour corrections. Just blend the LRGB over the top of the HOS image. Here's an example - http://www.rc-astro.com/php/displayImage.htm?id=1173

There is no law stating you can't blend narrow and wide band filtered images. In some cases it provides a richer colour depth. Some could say too saturated, but your the artist. You can do what ever you please. Perhaps the question on everyones mind is - what is the colour of space? Being the artist you can define how you want it to be. There are no baselines or standards, just a universe full of options and possibilities. Experiment.
