Hi guys,
Has anyone on the IIS forum had to re-grease an Astro Physics mount?
If so, did they come across an alternative to what is sold by Astro Physics which is locally available?
Thanks in advance,
John K.

Super Lube Synthetic is well regarded but perhaps not endorsed by AP.

I've bought Super Lube Grease from Mektronics Aus and it works well on my non-AP mounts

Bunnings stocks Super Lube as well, I saw it a few days ago. I used to get it from Mektronics as well.

I have always used T2 Lithium grease available at bike shops.

I use a silicone paste made by Herschell, (available from Supercheap Auto). It works well on nylon gears, etc. More info on www.swifts.com.za.
Cheers!

thanks for all the advice everyone, decided I'll just bite the bullet and get a kit from AP and do the whole mount.
Clear skies,
