Statue of Liberty Nebula in Carina
20 mins each in RGB and 30 mins in Ha taken last Friday/
R,G & B channels show very little to see, just a wee blob in the middle but Ha brings up the rest.
Needs more of both RGB and Ha but the weather has been decidedly uncooperative since.

Brent, I feel your pain with the weather.
This object needs LOTS of data to do justice to.
You might want to work on getting quite a bit more h-alpha...and have a look at other versions, for colour balance, on the web to guide your progress.
Stick with it

Thanks Peter,
Yes, the amount of Ha that showed when I processed surprised me. The RGB image was miniscule almost, a small squiggle in the middle. I have seen some other versions, quite beautiful and I was looking for something different from the usual EC, M42 etc etc.
The 1600mm-c is a stunner piece of gear for getting into mono and I still have a lot to learn but we're getting there.
