An attempt to shoot the Vela Supernova remnant. Used the Canon 70-300L at 300 f/5.6, 14 frames of 4 minutes each.
The post processing after stacking was very tedious and took much time, finally I used the Lonelyspeck method (https://www.lonelyspeck.com/photographing-and-processing-the-constellation-orion-astrophotography-image-stacking-and-lrgb-processing/). He has a video with very clear instructions how to do this in Photoshop.
The result I consider rather poor, but you can see at least the blue 'Pencil' NGC2736.
