View Full Version here: : what is this line?
I watched this video on youtube and there is an interesting optical anomaly that he captures when he did his super blue blood moon photo recently.
Any thoughts of what it is? In the comments section I see someone mention "creeping wave", could this be it and has anyone observed this before?

All part of Airy theory, so I expect that creeping wave is an adequate explanation.

The best answer I've seen is an airplane contrail.
H
Diffraction of light around mast/tower of rocket (maybe combined with interference)

Refraction, not unlike the 'Green Flash'.

For those who don't want to watch the video, here are 3 screen-caps.
I first thought it may have been a HV transmision line between the camera and the rocket, but that would show up in the first picture, which it doesn't.
