So many people are interested in Frump, but I think Mad Mike is far more amusing..esp his latest escapades.

More large sums of money to repair and delays for testing and ......... He's onto a good thing there. Anyone for a sweep stake to see how long it last before he gets rumbled ? :P

Not that I particularly care, but I doubt anyone ever did any CoG/CoT calculations on that contraption.

Even looking at it, it appears to me it is going to tumble end over end...should be a disastrously funny yet fatal finale for Mad Mike IF it ever launches.

People in the comments section are complaining about him getting so much air time. I think these kind of guys need more! I need a daily fix.

The guy needs a daily blog.

I thought there were no V2s left after ww2
I bet the payload is more explosive than the originals.

Weight it down at the back with 50kg of Semtex. That should keep it pointing up!

At least he got enough altitude for the shutes to work and he survived. Captain Risky would be jealous.

Sure, the guy is a nutter. No arguments there.
But he did build and successfully launch a rocket and return safely. I'd shake his hand and buy him a beer for that alone.

He wouldn't have seen the curvature of his forehead at that altitude, let alone any curvature of the oblate spheroid we live on.

FAIL.

Yeah, he launched himself - ALMOST horizontally. At least it did NOT tumble as I expected it to.
