When we went to Snake Valley Astro Camp in November I was lucky enough to win a prize in one of the raffles. It was Compact Binoculars 12 x 32.

Last night before putting the scope out I was looking at Venus through the Binos and thought ::: Put the digital camera into one of the lens and shoot.

This is the result :)

That's what I thought and I've been wanting to see the same (well crescent, actually, as it gets closer), but the image is very bright in my binoculars and seems to "flare" so the disc is not clear. Either optics are not good enough, or my eyes are stuffed - I suspect the latter :sadeyes: - I'll keep trying.
