Light polution filter dslr

I have a nikon 24 meg that I am happy with.
Having such a happy run in the bush I want to set up better in Sydney and I am wondering about a light polution snap in filter which I would hope has benefit so I ask what should I get and cost approx if its worthwhile anything really.
I have had a short look on the net but I value the opinions of members here.
There is a coma corrector fitted on the camera.
I guess what worries me also ... can you fit such a filter without having to do local focus adjustment.

Alex ,,I use an Astronomik clip in CLS, City light Suppression filter for short exposures in the city with a DSLR ,and find it helps.with that ..gradients . Even makes a good contrast boosting filter for the Planets.

Another trip to bintel....I like going there and see Michael.
Probably go in to get a filter and pick up 80mm triplet.

Yep you could be right mines on a Canon.

Another option, usually you mount your DSLR to the scope by a 2" adapter. Those are quite often threaded to accept 2" filters.

I have never found the search engine on this site works for me.
And to see if anything had changed I tried to use the search..
The moment my finger hit the screen the window closed.
A goggle works better often listing various iis discussions.
I will try a google and see if I can find what you mention.
