Here be dragons

Took a walk in Lane Cove National Park this arvo and the water dragons were out in numbers. Been a few years since I've done any nature photography but recently reacquired a Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS and 1.4x extender.

I'm pretty happy with the results even though I didn't always nail focus. Was nice to get out there again, even if it was 37ºC.

Thanks. I spent a while with that little guy. At first he was in dark shade and I couldn't get a decent shot. Then he moved but was further away so I had to slowly stalk him to get closer. As it is those shots are about a 60-70% crop as he was too smart to let me get as close as I wanted! :lol:
