Am hoping to get some photos of this while on the road. I believe its 31st January. Not sure about the eclipse. Anyone got any info on this event. Last time was in 1866 or thereabouts I believe.

here is ALT-AZ-EVENT TIME info presented graphically for the "Mexican" eclipse you asked about in SE Qld. Times in EST.

Thanks guys. It'll be difficult to image. The eclipse looks like being just on the zenith.

Zenith? Sounds like you're in South East Asia. Have fun and forget astronomy, there'll be another eclipse in July.

Ahhh! Yes. Right. I misread my own info. The full eclipse will be at a good elevation for viewing. Thanks for making me look again.
