ST10 camera with CFW 10 filter wheel

I have for sale a SBIG ST10XME camera and a CFW 10 filter wheel. Non anti blooming. The KAF3200ME chip is the most sensitive of the front illuminated chips, just under 90% in the V band.
Cooling to 40C below ambient.
The CFW 10 holds 10 1.25" filters.
The camera and wheel are in good condition and work perfectly. There are no filters mounted in the filter wheel.
Bias, dark (5s) and image of omega cen attached.
At this stage prefer not to seperate. The front plate is included should you decide to separate them.
Power supply included, both 12V and 240V.
$3800 now $3200.

A couple of questions. How old is the CCD? What's the rough cooling time for the CCD? Does this CCD have a port for a remote guide head?

Hi Michael,

The cooling time is about 5-10 mins 40C below ambient.
The manufacture date is 2010.
Yes, it does have a remote guide head port. Its an XME.

Hello Michael,
Mine must be an earlier model, as it does not have the remote guide head port. As you know it has an internal guider which I used with great success. I found that so long as the mount could keep a star centered for, say, 20 sec then you could use 5-10 sec guide exposures.
What mount do you have?
Is it essential for you to have a remote guide head?

Sorry, I did say that it did have the remote port, but I was getting confused with the RS232 port. I never used remote guiding.

Hi Peter,
No worries. I'm considering this for a Celestron C11 on a Losmandy G11 mount, which mostly behaves although it does produce the occasional large error when slewing or tracking. The remote guide head is useful when those errors arise.
