View Full Version here: : Aerial views of The Skillion at Terrigal, NSW.
Went out flying my DJI P3P at The Skillion at Terrigal recently.
Here's a couple photos from the flight.
Love this drone, handles the wind very well.
Hope you enjoy.

Excellent Andrew, they look to have very decent resolution - Just did a quick search, 12Mb stills and has a Exposure bracketing setting, ie, HDR, which looks what you have done here, is this right ?
Very intriguing, have developed very well over the yrs
Good show
These drones have come such a long way Bob.
They can do long exposures, HDRs, 4k video etc.
These were single shots late in the afternoon, haven't tried HDR yet.
Also want to try long exposures of the night sky, be interesting to see how it goes with that.
Cheers

Andrew that is most impressive.
Thanks for showing us.
Alex
Very Impressive Andrew. I love the colours, especially the light blue / aqua:thumbsup:
A dusk flight sequence from the drone mixed in with a dusk to night land camera astro timelapse in the same area could be very special - Have the drone fly to the intended timelapse location near dusk and then cut/blend to a land based camera for an astro timelapse, whilst maintaing the same/similar field of view. Even more special if there is continuous pan in the timelapse.

wow seagull view - awesome
Thank you Alex, glad you enjoyed.
I've actually set up a distance limit in the software so as not to fly out too far past the edge of the world and have my drone abducted by those pesky aliens. :D
Cheers JA, yes those light blue/aqua colours are gorgeous aren't they...
I was actually trying out something along those lines, where the drone takes a whole series of "2 sec" stills and I combine them as a hyperlapse.
Problem was I needed a whole lot more than the few, (less than 100) stills that I took, to achieve a nice hyperlapse.
Next time I'll take over 1000 stills to get at least 30 sec @ 24 fps.
Cheers.
It was a Seagull view all right Dave, it was such a beautiful view from up there.
I'll post a video if I get around to processing the footage mate.

Matt, thank you.
You can't go wrong with a DJI Drone.
I love them and it's become another hobby of mine now.
If you need anything, send me a PM.
I've got some nice videos that I've taken with the drone so send me a PM if you would like to view them.

Nice.
It must be nearly 40 years since I was last at the skillion.
