Wow, what a show!
35,000 fans packed out AAMI stadium in Melbourne tonight to watch Sir Paul play an epic 3hr non stop show.
All the hits fron the Beatles, Wings & Solo- he had the audience in the palm of his hand from the start, telling stories & jokes from his long career.
He plays bass, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukelele & two pianos - (not all at once) how he does it at 75 is beyond me...
A tight band & amazing visuals reinvented the Beatles classics, and he stole “Live & Let Die” back from Guns & Roses with a pyrotechnic laden epic performance.
The entire crowd sang along to Hey Jude as expected, but also to Ob la De, Ob la da, Lady Madonna & pretty much every other classic.
At times touching (Blackbird, Eleanor Rigby, Something), other time in full rock mode (Helter Skelter, Back in the USSR) ir was a show for all ages.
Hard to argue with a full pipe band doing Mull of Kintyre too!
Absolutely worth the money, don’t miss out!
