Another incomplete set of data - got some reasonable luminance with my new ASI1600MM-C on NGC 1760 but the weather and Moon didn't cooperate for anything much else. 280 60 second images on an RC8 and EQ6 (selected by FWHM cutoff from about 310 images).

So colourised the L with an old OSC QHY8 image to make a LOSC image (pronounced "lossy" - I've just coined the term! :) ).

There are a LOT of stars obviously (it was fun watching the numbers that some of the PixInsight processes notched up when counting stars!) so it would probably be more sensible in narrowband I guess!

I also took some Ha data in very windy conditions. Rubbish data, but used it to slightly emphasise the nebula. So that'd be a LOSCHa image (pronounced "lossy hah!"?? ... though perhaps that sounds like you're demented!)

LOSC and LOSCHa on Astrobin here (https://www.astrobin.com/324008/0)and here (https://www.astrobin.com/324008/B)respectively.

Thanks for looking.

Nice one, turned out pretty well especially considering the unconventional approach!

Not bad Paul. It still looks pretty good but maybe a little too much decon. Colour is nice.

Thanks Mike.

Thanks Andy.

Thanks Paul. Just a smidgeon of decon in the luminance. However the OSC data was way over on deconvolution. Perhaps some of that had an impact on the final image.

Thanks Simon.
