Thank you very much, I am genuinly touched..how did you know? I guess it must have been me in the memebership application.. A surprise it is indeed.
Sixty orbits around our star the Sun.. If one mapped out my course thru space I wonder how far I have travelled... and on the assumption the Sun travells thru space I guess the path would be like a cork screw..twisted mmm what does it all mean.
So now I am old one day a young spritly 59 year old the next a sexigatarian (I think or something with sex at the front..whatever that is???
Thank you from the bottom of my heart my friends. So please take into account my age when considering my apparent stupidity and crankiness.

Happy birthday Alex....

Now you've got me wondering what age I have to be to occasionally play the "Cranky Old Man" card to get myself out of the odd bit of strife???

Happy birthday Alex. The only advantage of increasing age is that wisdom might follow.
I would use the cranky old man card too ..if I could remember where I put it:lol:

Thanks everyone. I can offer some advice. I saw 60 as a point where it would all come rushing in .. so for some time now when asked I would say " I am 60" so as to get used to it..
Add to that much prctice at cleaning up the mess caused by a cranky outburst...here mainly.. and again I say sorry, so sorry to Andrew, Mike and David for you know what... all that co incided with the aneversary of the suicide of a boy I raised as a Son who fell victim of drug abuse. I have felt foolishly human to think I lashed out at poor souls who knew nothing of my personal grief around that time.
I think the world of you all.

Hi Alex,

All the best for your 60 year (this year is my 50 year so I might soon join you in the grumpy old man stakes - but I feel I will be in good company!)
I too enjoy the wisdom and wit in your posts.

Many regards

Glenn
