The Astro.Society of S. Africa has produced a free online resource guide for observers interested in southern sky objects (assa.saao.ac.za/wp-content/uploads/sites/23/2017/11/NF_v2n1_Supplement_Catalogues_resou rces.pdf). Most of the objects are also observable from northern mid-latitude skies. The 14-page catalog includes hundreds of web links to make it easy to research the original source catalogs.
