Clouds of Neptune!
A night of superb seeing, and multiple bright clouds resolved on Neptune. PVOL put out a call for observations, and Sydney provided 9/9 Skippy seeing all too soon after I acquired my new rig :D. There's a call out (http://pvol2.ehu.eus/pvol2/news/view?id=16) to observe the bright clouds, particularly those near the equator, happy to try and oblige. You can even map the blobs if you trust the imaging :D
Incidentally, you can see nicely that Triton is a captured icy body around Neptune - nice bit of retrograde action :rundog:.
Celestron C14, ASI290MM, 642nm IR filter.
