Ed, last year I used two sleeping bags, one on top of the other - inside my 4WD, and i was still freezing !

unless you have a spare pair of fur lined undies to put over your ears - YES - a freezer suit is a big help

how large are they, will they fit my fat guts??? I am not exactly small. LOL

I suppose I really need to go and try them on? Can you do that?

i overheard someone at Ilford say that the viewing is best when the temperature gets below 1.7 deg C

and the viewing gets very good at Ilford

It does get cold! It may drop to almost 0 before dawn.

Last year a freezing wind whipped through between 3am and 5:30am, man it was cold.

To the question about if it gets cold...let me just say that the only time I've been cold since I've lived in Australia was at the SPSP (I'm originally from a colder region of the US)...so yes, it can get cold.

I too am curious if the freezer suits can acommodate a more "full figured" manly man...if so, I'll likely be in the market for one...

Cheers!

Can you bring some samples to Lostock, so I/we can try for size before buying.

freezer suits!! Really!! Your're all a bunch of wimps! You dont know what cold is til you've spent a winters nite viewing in tasmania. Regularly -3 to-4!!
It's so cold you can scrape ice off the tube.( I'm not kidding) But the crystal clear nites make up for it. have fun at SPSP

I can ship you a suit to Tasmania (will just cost a bit extra freight from memory) and then you will think you are observing in Qld

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen

I have been meaning to do this for sometime, and I now have my self setup with the means to supply you those freezer suits and boots on a more regular basis.
have set my website up with an order form so you can place orders at any time.
sorry i can't keep the prices as low as before, but you might understand that they will now be part of my regular business and if i am to keep some stocks of these items on hand, it just has to be so.

Those of you that would like to place and pay for orders so i can deliver them to lostock (no delivery charge), please do so before the 11th january.

I am hoping to have some sample stock on view at lostock - which will include some of the larger sizes

remember when ordering boots to order one size larger

and if you do a search on the forum for hepworth freezer suits you will find reference to calculating sizes

some idea for your sizing
sm - pants= 77reg - waist=30" coat chest=34"
med - ........87reg............34" ................38"
Lge - .........97reg ...........38" ................42"
XL - .........107reg ...........42" ................46"
2XL - ........117reg ..........46" ................50"
3XL - ........127reg ..........50" ................54"
and so on - add 10 (and i guess 4 to the waist measurement) to the pants and 4 to the jacket for each size up

Use these sizes as a guide to the Full Suit

Don't worry if it's to hard Geoff, if you manage great if not don't worry.

Yeah we did see the sizes, it's more the length of the legs, Anna's a dwarf  5'2" and no eyes of blue.:P
