Just wanting to ask about the quality of these and would it be worth upgrading or are they adequate in a 80mm scope

They're fine in any scope.
You won’t be able to tell the difference between 99% and 100% transmission, and they are quite durable if treated with reasonable care.

The only 'real' reasons to change diagonals are the length of the light path and if one wants a ClickLock.... the optical differences, though there, are very subtle...... Unless one has OCD, then it is a matter of life and death.... :D

Yes Matt i think i have that affliction but i'm going to show a little self control on this one ,the diagonal looks great and quality of build is very good but just needed to ask this question to stomp on the OCD monster that is screaming the usual,TBH i think i am going to go the same way with the focuser as i only use it for visual and it does what you ask of it but the affliction says feathertouch

 I have probably owned about 10 of these over the years in both 1 1/4 and 2 inch and found them all to be very good optically and mechanically .
When I lived in Darwin a few of us got together and did a blind test with an AP , TV and a Bintel 99% diagonals using TV Radian eyepieces and a well cooled and columated Takahashi M210 and Takahashi SKY90 to tell the truth there was nothing any of us could pick between these 3 , yea these GSO ( Skywatcher ) diagonals are very good for the price .
