NGC2014 and NGC2020

A few years back I imaged (http://paulhaese.net/NGC2020-NGC2040-NGC1935.html)a region which incorporated NGC2014 and NGC2020. I always thought that each of these individual nebulae could really shine with a narrower field of view and with a bit more image scale. I am currently working on collecting data on this region and this is the Ha almost completed.

Looking at the image I reckon that NGC2014 looks like a brain with its bubbles and NGC2020 looks to me like an upside down flower. There is some lovely detail in each object which draws the eye in and I am very happy with the abilities of this budget Newtonian.

That is wonderful.
I have spent some happy time looking through your excellent images at Astro Bin very nice viewing.
Compliments to the driver of the equipment ...might have something to do with the results of the scope.

Wonderful wonderful image. My favourite Ha object in the LMC. A beautiful rendition and tons of detail. Its a bit like Thors Helmet on steroids.

I've always wondered if a bit more image scale would help on this object over a wide field, be interesting to compare the colour versions once you've finished with them :)

That's very fine indeed, Paul. We see the brain as brain-coral, and the daffodil-flower to top left of the coral is unquestionably a cup of black coffee with a single dot of cream in the centre.

You've brought out all the wispy material toward right and bottom very nicely.
