Hi, the moon offered some lovely craters tonight on its lower limb, the image to the left features five of the more striking ones from upper left to lower right;

Thanks for the compliments lads, i need is to gather more frames in K3 tools to smooth things out a bit, today i installed registax on the lappy so heres hoping, has to be better than file transfers with thumb drives to the desktop for stacking.:rolleyes:

Next full full moon period i would like to try a full moon image of the same scale as harbs beautiful DSLR shot, but using a SW 80mm refractor. Should be a challenge!

Thanks JJJ, its a steep learning curve! but very rewarding too and i have everyone to learn and seek advice from which is a huge help.
