Orionid Meteor Shower 2017

I'm thinking of catching the Orionid meteor shower this year. The moon phase seems pretty good as well on the 20th/21st when the shower peaks. Anyone else heading out that night? Anywhere near Sydney would be a good place to spot them?

I just checked the dates in my diary and it coincides perfectly with the Little Desert Star Party (Vicsouth). Looking forward to it.

It's a long weekend for us but the way the weather is going with solid cloud I suspect we won't see diddly squat of anything.
