UPGRADED ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT BOLTS
Heavy duty German Equatorial Mount with 1.8° Stepper Motors and 13.5kg payload capacity.
Bought new and only unboxed and run briefly to confirm that it functioned as it should.
As I'm in my declining years with three degenerated vertebrae, common sense has prevailed and I've decided to get something more manageable.
I have all the original packing and am quite happy to freight it or I will deliver within the Newcastle area.

This mount would definitely suit a new buyer as it is unmarked, and has only been run for about twenty minutes to test for function.

Reduced to $1060.00.
Has to be a good deal for what is basically a new mount with upgraded Alt knobs.

Hi Kev
I thought to PM you however my question maybe on others minds so I ask it here...
How old is the scope, rather what date did you purchase it?
Also is it still covered by warranty and can the warranty pass onto a new owner?
And how much did the additional items you fitted cost?
Pity to have to let such a unit go before you got to use it.

Hi Alex,
Purchase date 14/7/2016
The warranty, like most warranties, is non-transferable
The Alt knobs were about $50.00 ( a great add-on)
Alex, I kept finding excuses not to pack it all into my car and go somewhere I could use it. I'm treed-in and built-out at home.
I'm a photographer and also had a serious re-assessment of what my wants were, which was something for nightscapes and the odd nebula. I could also feel myself developing a serious case of GAS. (For those not familiar with the acronym, 'Gear Acquisition Syndrome')

Thank you Kev.
I can understand a little how you must feel.
I backed off when I had to come to the city however I have resolved to use the little bit of sky I get in the city and make the most of it.
I was ready to hang up the gloves because of my back / legs problem...however I resolved to work with the little I had / have here in the city..inonly an hour and the object goes behind the trees... ...well the extra exercise and doing stuff sees me back and fitter than I have been for a while...
You should pack the car and use it first.
At the moment I still cant fix my eq6 which is holding up the program...
But I am trying to set up to go North each month for a visit and some dark work.

Alex, I know exactly how you feel with a crook back and dicky knees.
Mate, I've procrastinated for about six months about parting with it, and would prefer see it go to someone else in it's virtually unused state rather than risk damaging it just to appease my thoughts that I never really used it.
Anyway the WO scope and the ZWO camera have already gone to new homes.

Price reduction to $995.00 + freight
That's $350.00 less than retail for a mount that was bought new and run for less than an hour without any load to test that it functioned correctly. (It did)
