The topic this month is: ... "Golden Hour Activity"

Thanks Suzy for defining your Topic so nicely. :sunny:

Now for the small print: ...
This thread is only for posting your entry along with any comments you'd like to make about your own photo.
If you would like to comment on other people's entries, or have any "other" shots of your own, then please use the Comments and Rejects Thread -> HERE (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=1338745#post133874 5).

Remember the Rules:
* one entry (just one image) per person and
* the image must be your own work.
* all other normal forum rules, and image size limits, apply.

The image doesn't necessarily have to be taken this month, but in the spirit of the challenge, we do encourage it, so you get out and get into it and enjoy the challenge.
In this regard, YES, the image may be one that you have submitted to a previous photo challenge, unless of course it has already been voted a winner.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame" thread.

Good Luck! :camera:

Lucky enough to capture this rainbow, in the West, just as the Sun appeared over the Adelaide Hills in the East. Photo taken October 7th, 2017

Such a peaceful time of day if you can spend it in beautiful natural surroundings.

Liquid Gold

Taken earlier this week while waiting on the verandah for a dramatic red sunset that never showed up. The bright sun that did make an appearance was deliberately hidden behind my shoes, and at least it did provide a nice golden glow.

Is an "action" shot or a relaxed "inaction" shot though? :) There was certainly some vigorous swallowing action going on before, during and after... And of course there is some properly energetic action going on there too... if you look carefully up near the top there's bird flying home to roost. :)

An old image from Bellara on Bribie Island. Chasing some bait fish before settling in for some serious fishing, I suppose.

Me and the kiddo at the playground the other night. It only took 35,768 photos before we nailed this one! "Daddy, I'm bored, have you finished yet, you said only one more, DADDY!"
