Hi all.

I'm wondering if there's anyone out there looking for a Losmandy G11 with Gemini II (GoTo) in very good condition?

I'm thinking of selling mine.

https://www.bintel.com.au/product/losmandy-g11-g/

I've upgraded some of the mount's hardware (improved knob sets ie Losmandy Clutch Knob Set, TKS Screws Set, improved latitude bolts) and added the Losmandy GPS and SCC SkyFi 3 wireless telescope control unit. There's also extra counterweights. It also comes with the Losmandy recommended power supply).

The mount works very well.

All up it's close to $7000 of gear.

I'm open to (reasonable) offers:thumbsup:

Had a few more questions.

This set-up is only around 2 years old. Bought new from Bintel.

It is the folding HD tripod.

I have replaced the clutch knobs with the Losmandy 3-lobed clutch knobs which make tightening/loosening much easier.

I have replaced the altitude lock knobs which make those easier to adjust.

The mount head lock knobs have been replaced with better quality Losmandy machined aluminium knobs.

This set-up includes the Losmandy GPS for Gemini II.

If you are looking for a quality, top-of-the-line mid range mount this is the one for you.

I'll even drop the price to $4000.....for now:eyepop:

This is the WiFi-to-Serial/USB adapter that comes with this package. I'll include the Losmandy serial cable.

Pictures of the G11 with Gemini II.

RA/Dec cables etc have been removed for the sake of tidiness. They are included in sale.

PoleMaster camera and adapter not included in price, although will be available for sale. Price extra, or separate sale.

Wondering about wifi... what are the benefits? I suppose you can just do gotos from indoors and just use the camera for viewing and pics.. Do you use a planetarium program - which one?

Hi Glenn

It enables me to wirelessly control the G11 using an app on my iPhone.

You can operate it with software like SkySafari http://skysafariastronomy.com/skysafari-5-professional-astronomy-telescope-control-software-for-ios.html or, I believe, Starry Night
