FS - 8" f7 Pyrex Mirror (needs work) plus extras. Buyer pending

Hi all,

I have an 8" f7 mirror here that needs a little TLC, it is a pyrex mirror. It would make a perfect start for a mirror grinding project. I was going to do this myself but have decided to get rid of it instead. The coating on it currently has a few marks on it. Will take pics if wanted. The Primary I will sell for $150 pp and the secondary mirror which needs a recoat, is 41mm across the small axis I will sell for $20. If you want the old mirror cell too that will be $5 extra.

Primary 8" f7.1 mirror - $150 pp
Secondary - $20 pp
8" Mirror cell - $5 pp

does it actually need grinding or would a recoat get it back to good condition.

The coating is okay on it, but not perfect, when tested it showed a turned over edge.

Yes Andrew, sorry for not getting back to you mate.
I was in the process of getting the cash together, then (sods law:shrug:), need ed the funds for more pressing matters (ie, post-xmas credit card repayment).
So sorry mate. But if you still have em in a week or two, would you still consider me as a potential buyer?
Won't be miffed if you tell me to sling my hook:D:D
