Ngc6752

Looks pretty mushy compared to Mike's. I'm having trouble getting and keeping focus with this scope.

Pavo globular cluster NGC6752.
"NGC 6752 was first identified by one James Dunlop of Parramatta on 30 June 1826, who described it as an irregular bright nebula which could be resolved into a cluster of many stars, highly compressed at the centre. This corresponds with a core region densely populated with stars around 1.3 light-years in diameter, which indicates it has undergone core collapse. The cluster lies around 13,000 light-years distant and is one of the closer globular clusters to Earth."

GSO 10" F4 Newtonian, Canon 1100Dfs, 42 x 1 minute subs, HEQ5 Pro unguided.

Only in the very middle Kevin.....the out stars are resolved nicely and the contrast has lifted the image a bit.....quite nice,well done :thumbsup:

Hey, my finderscope produced quite a nice looking image there Kevin :P, lovely colours.

Very similar colour and framing to one you did two years ago, but this time it is much sharper (except at the very corners), and consequently many more stars show. :thumbsup:

Thanks M&T. I think sharpness is better from the observatory than shooting out the window. The window is very turbulent. :lol:
