Fired up the system a little late today, hence the seeing was not great.

As mentioned in other posts, there is a delightful loop prom on the edge of the Sun at present.

Thanks guys, it needs a tidy up as the stitch on the proms exposures didn't quite match that of the disk details...and probably not worth spending too much time on...with so many awsome eclipse photos out there, I have a sneaking suspicion the solar system section in next year's Malins will be a very tough gig !
