The astrophoto comp was very well run by John S.. I hope to contest the 2007 event with some images of Jupiter if the seeing permits early this year!

Yes 2nd pic Eddie Trimarchi and his wife with them is Alan Dyer,Alan is from Alberta canada he writes for the Canadian Sky news astro magazine He has helped write books like "The backyard Astronomer".He tests Eqipment from companies like Astrophisics-Skywatcher -Celestron etc.He is a Brilliant Photographer.He travels the world viewing solar eclipses.The third pic has John Vetter and his Wife they have a Public Observatory near Mudgee.In the middle of them is Steve Quirk "frog rock observatory." Steve packs a lot of experience in imaging you should visit his website. The first pic is of Gary who ia an ice in space member receiving his award from David Mahlin.John Sarkissian is on the far left. Tony p.s john Sar. is a pretty good web cam imager.
