Ldn 557 in Serpens, from Atacama

As every summer, the holydays are clamer for us !
But we are back with some pictures to come ;)


The idea of this picture has been given tu us by Sakib Rasool in order to show this emission nebula (uncatalogued) This one just appears in H-alpha and we had the surprise to see that some reflexion nebulae were also in the field (uncatalogued aswell) :thumbsup:



This is ldn557, in the Serpens, shown here in HaLRGB.

Very nice image of a very rarely photographed object. One question, did the Ha nebula region show up at all in Red?
