Hi,
wondering if anyone has any familiarity with Borg refractors? Have been looking around http://www.hutech.com/ and on the surface the ability to use a refractor at f4 looks fabulous. Unfortunately a search of Astrobin doesn't bring much up, so wondering if anyone here has ever owned any and what they were like...not many reviews around either...
cheers
Gart

I'm not sure but I reckon they'll be assimilated.

They've been big in Japan for quite a few years but as far as I know have never really ventured beyond. I used to see lots of great images made by them in Tenmon Guide.
Cheers

Hi Gary,
I have two Borg scopes and I'm a big fan. They're incredibly light and well made, plus being modular, they can be configured in many ways. Fluorite lens for FL scopes are made by canon optron - same manufacturer as many Tak fl lenses.
If you need info on suppliers, components, setups etc feel free to PM me as it can be confusing.
