M16 and SH2-54 in Ha only - QI

So this is the 3rd iteration.

I managed to munt processing on the HaOiiiRGB and lost the detail and rendered it quite red, so this go round I am going to just show the Ha because theres a lot of interesting stuff in the FOV, especially around SH2-54.

Generally I don't like doing reworks but I missed the point posting the last version. Hope you find it interesting

There are not too many Eagle-Swan Ha images out there.

Yours is brilliant.

There is a very interesting section about half-way toward 9 o'clock, where there is much detail with thin bright serpiginous shock fronts and fine, dark, snaking dust lanes.

Cheers Mike, that's very good of you to say. Will be waiting for this to land in the right place next year and take good look at the SH2-54 and those shock fronts with a longer focal length

That's a nice composition, David, and the Ha is very dramatic.

Agree with all the others, this is a delightful look at the h-alpha around Serpens. Very keen to see what you turn up with more focal length.
