Yes, I know he have seen it all before and yes I know I cannot afford it, I had even put it so far out of my head as simply a no goer for many years to come.

But how bloody effective are the words "PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO ENJOY THAT FIRST RUSH OF PURE DESIRE".

And how nicely presented is that web page!!!!

I know that i can't afford this, but bloody hell I am now thinking there must be some legal way!!!!

http://www.meade.com/maxmount/index.html

now for Mick pinner to design a buggy for it, OR houghy gets his observatory, we all chip on for this scope and we all move to Wallsend. I am sure his wife will not mind the extended family. At least this way, Houghy gets to burn all his browny points at once and then the only way is up!

imagine if one of us was getting one, it would be so exciting......it would be like saying you were bringing your new girlfriend paris hilton to IISAC 2007 and she had left her knickers in AMERICA. You would have to beat the boys off with a large stick.

cmon houghy, we will support your push to having one. we will all be there when you have to ask the wife!!

40 grand? What's that - a tenth of a mortgage on an average capital city humpy. Equates to the broom closet or the spare room. Get onto the bank.

Call them...... Call them now.... You know you want it.....

Cheers -

Dont tempt me.

My wife cant believe I payed $2500 for the STL11000 that included $2000 worth of astrodon filters...she reckons I got ripped off paying $2500 for that boxy looking thing they call a SBIG STL11000M.

If I can pass a $12000 item for $2500 I'm sure this Robotics system from Meade could be a nice Birthday gift for around $5000.....lol
