Its Globular season, and there is plenty to choose from at the moment so here is my take on M22.

Cant pick out the small PN in the core though I know Mikes image from a few years ago managed to pick it up

M22 in Sagittarius (http://astrob.in/308639/0/)

35 * 180 sec RGB
RC08, STL6303e and AP900 from Sydney.

Given that there is some conversation around glob colours this is pretty much straight out of the can, the key changes I made in my processing being to use the new Photometric colour calibration process in PI which pulls in data from G2V stars in the frame along with a masked stretch then a nudge in saturation along with a micro curve (not necessarily in that order)

Thanks for looking

Very nicely captured and processed. A good job here.

Thanks for the comments Greg. Had to learn a few new things on processing this and am quite happy with it.

That's a very nice M22. I like the subtle star colours which is the way to do globulars.

Cheers

A great globular David. I think that the star colours have worked out well. Nicely resolved.
