I have no interest either way here Dean, but it does sound like Lewis has more than the normal non aboriginal exposure to their culture than many other non aboriginals. Rather than condemn his expression of his experiences wouldn't it be better to learn his perspective and judge it in that light?
I myself have no exposure to the aboriginal culture other than mainstream media presents...and mainstream media is known for misrepresentation. I'd be inclined to probe Lewis and learn from him before I cast him down.

"... it does sound like Lewis has more than the normal non aboriginal exposure to their culture than many other non aboriginals."
Yes it does, but that doesn't excuse needless, derogatory remarks. I was born in Germany: does that mean I'm entitled to say anything I like about Germans, however hurtful or rude?

Let's move on.
Although remarks are some time found offensive often those making the remarks did not intend offence and when this is the case being called out is not welcomed.
No one wins no one need win just relax and know the stars will still be there when we are not.

Thanks Dean for the link, an interesting story.
Thanks for posting.
no need to defend your post, just because others want to have a little fun with it, even though the poke has little to do with the actual story.
At least it is Astronomy based! :scared3:
