Good evening.
Just 45 minutes of data per filter (SHO) in this image. I was planning on using some of my old RCOS data to make another composite, but the seeing has been really, really good here in Yass over the past two or three nights that the data was of better quality!. That large rain front that came through a couple of days ago must have 'cleaned' the air.

Just the subtle textures you've managed to extract in the hourglass region alone make this an extraordinary image. A nice blend of good seeing, good transparency and superb management of the controllable variables as well!

Just fantastic as always, great colour, sharp as, pinpoint stars.
Whenever i look at the Lagoon, i always see the face of Homer Simpson.

The lack of exposure doesn't help the depth but the detail is exquisite!

Agree with Colin here, the detail in the core area is very tight :thumbsup:great result Martin.

That's a great "quickie" Martin! As others have already commented, the detail is excellent.

Unbelievable for such short integration time!
I can't believe how tight those stars are -- like a refractor. One awesome scope!

Thanks very much! Actually, I was very impressed with the quality of the data across all three filters and hence why I stopped gathering data, so its probably my underwhelming processing that didnt take full advantage.
Still - I have the data for the second panel, and most of it for the third too.
cheers

I really like the dynamic range of this image Martin....just wonderful stuff...and sure you'd expect that from the Honders, but your handling of the light and shade is quite masterful.
Nice one

Great image Martin. Tiny stars. Love the colour palette you've chosen.
Greg.
