MaxIM DL 5 SBIG issue

I have been using MaxIM DL for acquisition for years. Since upgrading to Win 10, I can CONNECT my SBIG, but if I try to ACQUIRE, I continually get an Error 5, which according to Diffraction LTD, is a bad camera command.

I recently ran the SBIG driver checker and that seemed to have no difference. I uninstalled SBIGUDRV.dll and reinstalled as per Diffractions suggestion - no difference. The cam works fine in CCDOps, Nebulosity etc so am pulling my hair out with this one. I run MaxIM as admin, and have tried it in Win 7 compatibility too.

I am happy to use CCDOps, but after having paid all those BIG bucks for the pro suite years ago, I feel a bit miffed.

Any ideas?

You could pay the fee for the upgrade and see if that helps? That way if it's still an issue you have support available. Raise a ticket with them and see what comes back.
