Took this image the other night from the suburbs of Sydney. It is the first frame of an Ha, Si and O3 combo.

Taken with RC10, STL6303 and Baader 7nm Ha. Consists of 9 x 45 mins subs. At this depth and band the Swan shape tends to get lost.

That's a fantastic image Ted. Really stunning detail. One of the best I've seen of this object.

Thanks Geoff, it came out better than expected.

Looks good Ted, I wonder though if you've over HDR-ed the core.
It's usually a lot brighter which in turn creates depth, maybe at the expense of detail - but impact over detail wins every time for me.
Looking forward to seeing what your final image looks like - in my experience, it's a tricky beast to balance the colour palette in NB. :)

Thanks, I hear you Andy. I could not decide which way to go in that brighter area. Alway easy to put back the highlights and I do tend to put the shades on for my Ha images. I agree the NB combo will likely cause me grief when I get there but then that is the nature of that beast.
