I have wanted to do this image for years but typically when the Milky Way is in the right position the flow of the falls is too much to safely reach these low rocks in the middle of the river (especially at night), but it has been unseasonably drier lately so when the clouds cleared I made the most of the opportunity.

Thank you so much everyone :D Got a large canvas print of this one on its way to me.

It is a twelve image panorama Bob. Each of those twelve images was just a single 20 second exposure.

Great composition and well executed.

A bit late now but I wonder if lightening the shadows a tad may have given a bit more foreground impact.
