Did you take a dark and subtract it? Wedge mounted or Alt/az? What was the nr filter?

Wedge , dark frame taken prior to session , the rest is automated through the camera.

Oh Boy,
I can see this being the start of a long affair.
Well done mate. Told you that Nikon was OK huh.
Yes, room for improvement, but wow what a great start.

Well done Stuart, what a great start. Omega Centauri and Orion look great!
They could benefit from some longer exposures, or stacking of more shots of that length, but very very nice.

Looks like I've got some catchingup to do Stuart. I don't think I'm game to post my first omega and 104 shots after seeing those :)

Stuart, nice start. All shots show great potential. All are nice and sharp also. Are you using the infra red remote or the cable remote? I noticed that you have a little stutter in the Omega shot and thought that vibration had not died down enough when you opened the shutter.

Also as has been suggested, stacking of more shots will produce better images.

Good stuff keep it up.

Hay Beran where they taken at Prime focus (at the focus of the main mirror eg fast star) or Cassegrain ( at the focuser of a SCT) ??
Just trying to get the terminology right.
Not bad keep em coming.
